SUMMARY:Overton Repair Cafe
DESCRIPTION:Our repair café is held on the 1st Saturday of each month\, at Overton Community Centre. There is no charge\, though we do welcome cash or card donations if you are able\, in order to keep the service running – it is free to use but not free to run! \n​Anyone can bring an item along to have it repaired by our team of volunteer repairers. We can fix electrical items\, clothes\, wooden items\, jewellery\, tools and toys\, amongst other things. We also offer bicycle safety checks\, particularly for children’s bikes. For a bicycle check\, you will need to fill in the form in advance.  \n​We are proud to be part of the Hampshire Repair Café Network.  \nIf you have an urgent repair and can’t wait until our next event\, there are other repair cafes across North Hampshire on different weekends\, all part of this network. \n\n\nWant us to fix something?  Book in using this form.\n\n\nFilling out the form gives us a chance to assess whether it is an item we are able to repair before you turn up. It is also fine to turn up on the day with your item without having filled in the form.​​​ \n​We always need more volunteers. So if you’re a dab hand at repairing household items\, computers\, furniture\, bikes or clothes – whatever your skill set might be\, send us a message. We run the Repair Café once a month\, but you don’t need to be available for every session to volunteer with us.​
